A silly little tool for making silly little graphics. It started as an internal thing at the studio and was too charming to keep there.

Hit the hotkey and a preview replaces your cursor, re-rendering thirty times a second from a live screen capture. Every grid cell gets matched against a palette through one of four filters: nearest color, brightness bands, a Bayer-dithered halftone, or Sobel edges. Rotate through arrangements until you like what you see. Click, and the frame saves as SVG.

The output is vector, so whatever you dab scales to poster size. A frame grabbed off a video at 400 pixels wide can go on a wall. Take the file to your favorite editor and mess with it.
